The Custom Design Process
Step 1: Consultation & Inspiration
Bring us your ideas, inspiration, or existing jewelry. Whether you know exactly what you want or you're starting with an idea or a collection of inspiration, we'll help transform your ideas into a piece of jewelry you'll treasure. During your in-person consultation, one of our designers will discuss your vision, style, budget, and the materials you'd like to use.
If you're shopping for a stone, we have many GIA-certified diamonds in stock for you to consider. We also stock a selection of laboratory-grown diamonds. If we don't have what you're looking for, as national diamond dealers we have access to many stones and will be able to source something for you.
If you're redesigning an existing piece, we'll also examine your jewelry and discuss which stones or materials may be suitable for the new design.
Step 2: Design Development & 3D Visualization
Once we understand your vision, we'll develop the design using 3D computer-aided design (CAD) technology. This allows you to visualize the piece, and together we’ll refine the details until it matches your vision. From there, we can create a wax model for you to see and try on, or move directly into production.
Step 3: Approval & Payment
We require a 50% (minimum) deposit to start crafting your custom piece. The deposit acts as a layaway—you can pay it off all at once or in increments you choose over the course of a year.
Step 4: Craftsmanship & Creation
Once you approve the final design and make a deposit, our skilled jewelers bring your piece to life with careful attention to detail and quality. Our custom creations take about 4-6 weeks.
The finished result is a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry designed specifically for you. Whether repurposed from treasured heirlooms or created entirely from your imagination—our hope is that you’ll cherish it for years to come.
