JEWELRY & WATCH REPAIR
01. Do you provide free repair estimates?
Absolutely. Bring your piece in for a free in-store assessment and price estimate before any work begins. Since our jeweler is on-site, we can usually provide a repair cost on the spot.
02. How much will it cost to resize my ring?
The price to resize a ring depends on the metal type and purity, as well as the style and condition of the ring. Please bring your ring in during business hours and we can give you a quote on the spot. If you are interested in our resizing services for a ring you are planning to purchase on our website, please call or email us before placing your order so we can confirm feasibility and price. Please note: altered items, including resized rings, are considered final sale.
03. How long will the jeweler take to repair or resize my item?
We have a workshop and jeweler on-site. Our jewelry and watch repair services typically have a 10–15 business-day turnaround. Custom designs, made-to-order items, and complex repairs or restorations can take anywhere from 2–6 weeks or more.
04. I've heard of getting rings "re-dipped". Do you offer rhodium plating?
We do offer rhodium plating, often referred to as "re-dipping". Rhodium is a precious, silver-white metal, with a high reflectivity for light. Almost all white gold is rhodium plated. Having your white gold items polished and rhodium plated will make them look brand new again. You will be amazed at the transformation! Not wearing yellow or rose gold jewelry any longer? We can also rhodium plate them to turn them white and make them feel like a brand new piece!
05. Do you offer engraving?
Yes! We can personalize most rings, watches, pendants, and bracelets. In some cases, we can engrave your handwritten message! If you are interested in our engraving services for an item you are planning to purchase on our website, please call or email us before placing your order so we can confirm feasibility and price. Please note that engraved pieces are not eligible for refund, return or exchange.
06. How do I care for my vintage, antique or fine jewelry?
Some vintage and antique pieces require special care. For all jewelry, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals, at-home ultrasonic cleaners, and extreme temperature changes. For cleaning, our fine jewelry cleaner (available for purchase in-store), or a soft brush and mild soap are often best. We also offer professional cleaning services in-store and can provide specific care instructions for your unique piece as necessary when you purchase it.
07. How much does it cost to just have my jewelry cleaned?
We offer complimentary cleaning and inspection of your jewelry, including items not purchased from us. You are welcome to come have your jewelry cleaned as often as needed! We do recommend professional cleaning and inspection of your diamond and gemstone jewelry at least once every six months to ensure stones are secure and to restore its brilliance. We sell a fantastic jewelry cleaner for you to use at home between professional cleanings which you can purchase in store.
08. Do you change watch batteries and adjust watch bands?
Yes! We offer watch battery changes and watch band adjustments while you wait. We also have many bands and bracelets in stock should you need a replacement.
CASH FOR GOLD
01. Do I need an appointment to sell my items?
No appointment necessary! Walk-ins are always welcome during regular business hours for a free, no-obligation evaluation and cash offer. For luxury watches or large coin collections you may want to call first to ensure the owner, Guy, is in and available. You can reach us at 215-674-5910. You do not need to sort or clean your items beforehand. In fact, please never clean a coin, as cleaning can significantly reduce a rare coin's value.
02. Do you buy gold, silver, or estate jewelry?
We pay cash for gold, platinum, silver, diamonds, and gemstones. We buy precious metals and stones in all forms: scrap, jewelry, coins, bullion, watches, sterling flatware, diamonds and gemstones set or loose, etc. We offer fair market value and a transparent evaluation process. Please bring your items in during business hours for a free and no-obligation assessment. No appointment required.
03. Can I sell my diamond for an upgrade?
We are strong buyers of diamonds of all shapes, sizes, and qualities and generally can offer more towards a trade or upgrade. We pay a premium for larger carat sizes (1.00CT and larger).
04. How do you determine the payout for gold, silver, or rare coins?
Payouts are calculated in real-time based on current live market precious metal prices (spot prices), the weight, purity (karat), diamonds/gemstones, and any additional collectible, re-sellable, or numismatic value.
05. What documentation or ID do I need to bring when selling?
We require a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) for all selling transactions. Please note, you must be at least 18 years old. For diamonds or gemstones, any certificates are helpful. For watches, please bring box, papers, and extra links if available.
06. Are you a pawn shop?
We buy outright, which means we buy your items and hand you cash. We do not pawn. We are licensed precious metals dealers and offer top cash payouts for gold, platinum, silver, diamonds, fine jewelry, watches, coins, and precious metals.

CUSTOM DESIGN
01. What is the custom design process like?
The custom design process is a collaborative and exciting journey. It begins with an in-store consultation where you share your vision, ideas, and budget. Our jewelers will then create sketches and/or 3D renderings of your design. Once you approve the final design, we can create a wax model for you to see and feel before our artisans begin crafting the final piece, or we can get right to work making your dream jewel!
02. How long does the custom design process take?
The timeline for a custom-designed piece can vary depending on the complexity of the design and the sourcing of materials. First, we will start with a consultation and discuss your ideas and budget. From there it can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks to show you the first draft of your design, which we can adjust as needed. Generally, after the final design is approved and deposit received, the process takes approximately 4–6 weeks to create your custom piece. We will provide you with a more accurate timeline during your in-store consultation.
03. Can I use my heirloom stones or existing jewelry for a custom design?
Yes! We can often incorporate your heirloom diamonds or gemstones into a new custom design, allowing you to create a beautiful, sentimental piece while honoring your family's history. We can also recycle your gold, platinum, and silver jewelry and other precious metals and apply that value towards a custom design or redesign project. We invite you to bring your pieces to our store for an in-person assessment and discussion.
04. Do you offer appraisals for custom-designed jewelry?
Yes, every custom-designed piece comes with a complimentary appraisal for insurance purposes.
Engagement Rings & Diamond Education
01. What are the "Four Cs," and why are they so important?
The 4Cs—Carat, Cut, Color, and Clarity—are the universal standards for evaluating the quality of a diamond. Carat is the weight of the diamond, Cut refers to the stone’s proportions and angles, Color measures how colorless the diamond is, and Clarity assesses the presence of any internal or external blemishes. Our expert staff can walk you through each of these elements in detail and show you how they affect a diamond’s beauty in person so you can feel confident in discussing and choosing your diamond.
02. Is it better to buy an engagement ring online or in-store?
While browsing online is a great start, we highly recommend visiting us in-store. A diamond’s unique sparkle and fire are best appreciated in person. We can show you different stones side by side, explain the nuances of their quality, and allow you to try on various settings to find the perfect fit and style that speaks to you
03. Can you help me choose the right engagement ring style for my partner?
Yes! Our team specializes in helping clients find or design the perfect ring. We can discuss your partner's style, lifestyle, and preferences to guide you toward a classic, vintage, modern, or completely unique design. Or, we often work with couples together for a preliminary “try on" experience to see what they like and don’t like. We will expertly guide you to consider all aspects of what your dream ring could look like and then can work with your partner separately to finalize the details and work within the needed budget. Stop by and let us help you find a ring that truly reflects your love story.
04. I see you're recognized as a Premier Retailer by the Natural Diamond Council. What does that mean?
We are proud to be recognized as a leading natural diamond retailer across North America by the Natural Diamond Council. Our extensive selection of GIA graded natural diamonds, commitment to education, passion for creating exceptional in-store experiences, and dedication to responsible business practices through ethical sourcing have earned us this recognition.
05. Do you offer both natural and laboratory grown diamonds?
Yes, we proudly curate exceptional selections of both natural diamonds and high-quality lab-grown diamonds. We strive to help every client make the right choice to match their personal story and budget.
06. How can I be sure a diamond is conflict-free?
We are committed to ethical sourcing and partner only with trusted suppliers who adhere to the strict standards of the Kimberley Process for natural stones. We also carry beautiful lab-grown options, giving you absolute confidence in the integrity of your choice. We believe in providing beautiful pieces you can feel good about.
07. What is the difference between a laboratory grown diamond and a natural diamond?
Lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical. They share the same brilliance and hardness. The difference is their origin and value. Natural diamonds are formed deep within the Earth over billions of years, while lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled laboratory environment in a matter of weeks.
08. Is a lab-grown diamond a "real" diamond?
Yes, a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond. It is not a simulant like cubic zirconia. It has the exact same crystal structure and chemical composition as a natural diamond. The only way to tell them apart is with sophisticated testing equipment, which we have on-site.
09. How do the costs compare, and do lab-grown diamonds hold their value?
Lab-grown diamonds are significantly more affordable than natural diamonds of a similar size and quality. This makes them a great option for those who want a larger stone for their budget. However, because they can be produced in unlimited quantities, they are not expected to hold value over time like natural diamonds have for decades. We can show you both options in person to help you decide what's right for you.
